Abstract
Overweight and obesity is one of the risk factors that lead to the development of serious diseases such as hypertension, coronary heart disease, diabetes and many others. The article describes the causes and prevalence of this pathology of the disease in children and adults, as well as methods of diagnosis, prevention and treatment of overweight and obesity. The article also describes problems of children and adolescent obesity.
