Abstract
This article describes the causes and mechanisms nonparoxysmal (continuing) trigeminal pain caused by peripheral lesion of the trigeminal nerve. Described clinical features nonparoxysmal trigeminal pain, as well as basic clinical forms of trigeminal neuropathy: traumatic, herpes, auto immune (in the presence of systemic diseases of connective tissue) and deafferentation trigeminal neuropathy. Described methods of medical and neurosurgical treatment.
